I purchased my first house, an East Austin bungalow, at the ripe old age of 26 with a whopping $3,000 down payment. In the months that followed, all of my free time was spent constructing a 900 square foot apartment and recording studio that became my home and creative space for nearly five years. It was not my first foray into home construction, but it gave me the confidence to jump feet first into Austin real estate.
Real Estate is a job that constantly offers new challenges; no two deals or properties are ever the same. What I didn’t expect was just how rewarding it would be and the deep relationships that would form as a result. Buying and selling homes can be an intense process and it has been my honor to counsel and support so many people through that journey.
After 25 years, my passion is matched only by the deep experience and expertise I have gained as a real estate broker, a business owner, investor and homeowner and the challenges of being a father and navigating the needs of aging parents and inlaws.
I am passionate about neighborhoods, livability and the powerful role real estate plays in these issues. My goal is to help my clients make mindful decisions about real estate and ensure that each transaction is handled with absolute fidelity.

Pete helped us find and close on a home in Central Austin during one of the most challenging buyers’ markets in years. He has many attributes that make him an excellent realtor. For example, Pete knows the Austin market (of course), but he also knows a great deal about renovations, remodeling, easements, etc., all of which proved enormously helpful to us after we purchased our home.
